FARNHAM-
Tuesday evenings
Course
Aims- Target
group-
Students will learn basic techniques (specific steps, moves, combinations) of Middle Eastern dance at Beginner level. They will cover essential techniques, such as Grounding, Posture & Elevation. They will also be working on a choreographed routine.
The Autumn Term Classes start on 16th September, and run for 10 weeks, with the last class on 2nd December. There is a half-term break week.

Students will learn Improver/Intermediate level techniques (specific steps, moves, combinations) of Middle Eastern dance, and work on developing their personal Veilwork skills. They will improve and perfect their Posture, Grounding & Isolation and general Quality of movement. They will learn a choreographed routine to Fi el Awel.

to bring to class-
The Autumn Term Classes start on 16th September, and run for 10 weeks, with the last class on 2nd December. There is a half-term break week.

GUILDFORD-

The Autumn Term classes start on 9th October, with the last class on 11th December. Note - there is a Free Taster Session on 2nd October. This is aimed at Beginner level.
Please note that these classes are running half an hour later than last term.
This is now a termly course. These are not Drop-In classes. Past experience shows these classes will be very popular, and because of the size of the studio, numbers will be limited.
These classes are run by the University of Surrey as part of its Campusdance project-, contact them on 01483 689201 for administrative information or try their website, where you should shortly be able to access the Summer term timetable. (At the time of posting, the Summer Term details do not yet appear to be available online.)

group- Although the Campusdance programme refers to these classes as Intermediate/Advanced level, in practice they will be run at Improver/Intermediate level, and they are aimed at past students who have already done two or more terms of classes.
Students will learn Improver/Intermediate level techniques (specific steps, moves, combinations) of Middle Eastern dance, and work on developing their personal Interpretation skills. They will improve and perfect their Posture, Grounding & Isolation and general Quality of movement. They will learn a choreographed Veil routine.

Please note that these classes are running an hour earlier than usual this term.
