Planet Egypt Monthly Showcases

Thursday 28th July
Darbucka, 182 St John Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1. Click here for the venue details.

Hosted by Planet Egypt (Anne White), these Showcase evenings are held on the last Thursday of the month, and the venue is Darbucka - featuring special guest stars in performance, and Arabic disco so that you too can boogie on down.

Please note that there is an entrance fee on the door.

Saqarah Monthly Haflahs

Saturday 17th July
St Aloysius Social Club, 20 Phoenix Road, London NW1 1TA.

Saqarah is hosted by Eshta & Nafiseh, and these Haflahs are held monthly, featuring a range of different dancers in performance, and plenty of dance time for yourselves.

Please note that although it may be possible to buy a ticket on the door, these are subject to availability, so entrance is not guaranteed. Instead it is recommended you buy advance tickets (available on the Saqarah site) which are cheaper and will assure you get a place.

Hipnotic

Sunday 26th September
The Jazz Café, Madejski Stadium Complex, Reading.

Hipnotic is a completely different kind of dance event, including dance classes, performances and dancing for all, at a very reasonable cost for the evening, in a great bar with a pleasant and friendly ambience.

The event takes place every other month.

Jewel of Yorkshire

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd October
Victoria Hall, Saltaire, Bradford.

A very friendly Arabic Dance Festival, in Saltaire (Shipley, near Bradford) with International Star Teachers, Lulu Sabongi, Mohammed Khazafy, Khaled Mahmoud, Ozgen and Razia as well as fantastic UK based teachers, such as Anne White, Candi Colgrave-Bell, and Kay Taylor.

Workshops, Souk, Performances, and a very good vibe!
